• The purpose of this presentation is exposure , justification and needs

assessment for the construction of a new hospital in Ethiopia.

Situation

• The number of hospitals operating in Ethiopia is 154 units.

• The current population is 92 million.

• Currently there are 0.18 beds per inhabitants.

• Life expectancy of the population is 59 years.

• More than 30,000 people a year move for healthcare.

Program

• The new hospital will have 300 beds for patients.

• Designed by Spanish architects and medical experts.

• Technology , furniture and high quality instrumentation.

• Quality controls and procedures as Spanish legislation.

• Helpful Hospital 50 to 80 years life.
